Our most recent class assignment was to do a studio style fashion shoot. Since this style of shooting is so far out of my comfort zone, I decided to have some fun with it. My inspiration was from the Feb 2009 issue of W, where David Simms photographed a French opera singer.
I really loved the movement and tension so my goal was to recreate it.
The model was the lovely Jocelyn Medina. She's a local jazz singer, and has an album coming out soon, so check her out!
